Note: During brewing coee or making steam, it is normal that the power light is likely to blink, it only means that the heater is heating up to keep the temperature at the standard range.

9. You can take the coee holder out by turning it clockwise, than remove the coee residue from the coee holder by shaking it or scraping it with non-sharp object/tool.

10. Once all parts are cooled, rotate the lter o align and remov it from coee holder and rinse them under running water.

Making capuccino

You can get a cup of cappuccino by topping a cup of espresso with frothing milk.

Note: during making steam, the steam wandmust be assembled and coee holder locked in position.

1. Prepare espresso rst with cup of appropriate sizeand make sure that the steam knob is at the “

” position.

2. Press the steam button

, the steam light (green) lits.

3. Fill a jug with about 100 ml of milk for each cappuccino to be prepared, you are recommended to use whole milk at refrigerator temperature (not hot!).

Tip: In order to get better milk foam performance, you are recommended to keep steam knob at open/max position for approx 15 s into an empty jug, since the early steam contains too much

water, pour out the water from the jug and rotate the steam knob to“

” position and move to next step .

5. Insert the steam wand into the milk about two centimeters, then turn the steam knob slowly counter clockwise, steam will come out from the steam wand. Frothed milk is produced by

moving jug from up to down repeatedly.

Notes: Never touch steam wand during steam jetting to avoid scalding.

6. Never turn the steam knob rapidly, as the steam will accumulate rapidly in short time which may increase the potential of the risk of explosion.

7. When done, you can turn the steam knob to the “

” position and press the steam button again to exit the steam function (light turns OFF), coee light turns ON.

8. Please follow the operation as below to avoid the steam outlet being blocked after nish frothing milk each time: put an empty jug under the steam band, then turn on the steam knob and

press the coee button “

” , for 30 seconds before pressing the coee button “ ” again to stop the pump, nally, clean the steam outlet with wet sponge, but take care not to

be burnt!

9. Press the power button “

” .

10. Pour the frothed milk into the espresso prepared, now the cappuccino is ready.

Note: Please follow the operation as below if the steam outlet is blocked: rstly turn the steam knob to “O” position and make the coee maker cool down for about half an hour, then carefuly

poke the steam outlet for several times with a needle about 1 mm in diameter, nally, press the steam button “

” and rotate the steam knob to check if the appliance can produce steam

normally when the steam light (green) is lit. Contact nearest dealer if no steam comes out.

Note: After steaming, we recommend to cool down the device for 5 min before making coee again. Otherwise burnt odor may occurred in your Espresso coee.

11. If you want to make coee again after frothing milk. You should press the coee button and make sure steam button is not pressed. Allow the pump to pump water until the coee indicator

turns o, then press the coee button again and wait until the coee indicator lights up again.

12. During operation, if the coee and steam indicator lights up at the same time, you cannot make coee. If you want to make coee, repeat above steps.

FROTHING MILK/PRODUCING STEAM TO HEAT LIQUIDS

The steam wand can be used to froth milk and make hot beverages like drinking chocolate, and water.

Method:

1. Remove the removable tank and ll it with water to the “MAX” mark in the tank. Then insert the tank into the device.

2. Plug the power cable to power supply

3. Press the power button “

”, the power indicator (red) will turn ON.

4. Press the steam button“

”and wait for a moment, the appliance begins to heat until the (green) light is lit, it means the heating is nished.

5. Dip the steam wand into the liquid to be heated. If you want to froth milk, dip the steam wand about 2 centimeters into the milk. Turn the steam knob in counter clockwise slowly to start

making steam.

6. When done , rotate the steam knob to the “

” position.

7. When done, press the power button “

”

4) AUTOMATIC POWER OFF FUNCTION

The appliance will turn o automatically if there is no operation within 25 minutes.

5) CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

General cleaning

1. Turn o and unplug from power supply before allowing the device to cool down completely before cleaning.

2. Clean housing of the device with damp cloth and clean water tank, drip tray and drip plate regularly then dry them.

Note: Do not clean with alcohol or solvent cleanser. Never immerse themain unit in water for cleaning.

3. Detach the metal funnel by turning it clockwise, get rid of coee residue inside and wash with detergent before rinsing it with clear water. Do not wash any parts in a dishwasher.

4. Clean all the attachments in the water and dry thoroughly.

Note: Clean the appliance after every use in order to make it work properly.

Descaling

1. To ensure your device can operate eciently, internal piping is clean and coee best as possible, you should clean away the mineral deposits left every 1-2 months.

2. Fill the tank with water just below the MAX level before adding couple of tea spoons of citric acid

3. According to the program of preheating, put the coee holder (withoutcoee in it!) and cup in place. Start “PREHEATING”.

4. Press the power button “

” to turn the device ON (the power indicator (red) will turn ON), and wait for coee light (green) to turn ON. When the coee light (green) stops blinking, press

the coee button“

”, the pump will start to pump water. As soon as water ows from the coee holder’s spouts turn OFF the pump by pressing the coee button“ ” again and

wait for the coee maker begins to be heated.

5. When the coee light (green) turns ON, it shows the heating is nished. Press the coee button “

” and make/release for two cups of water. Then press the coee button again and

wait for 5s.

6. Press the steam button “

”, wait or the steam indicator is to turn ON. Allow steam to be released for 2min by rotating steam knob slowly counter clockwise, then turn the steam knob to the

"

" position to stop making steam. Press the power button “ ” to turn o the device, and allow the water/citric acid mixture to rest in the unit for at least 15 minutes.

7. Restart the unit and repeat the steps of 4-6 at least 3 times.

8. Then press the coee button “

” to brew until all the mixture is used.

9. As nal step discard the rest of the mixture from the tank and ll the tank with tap water to the MAX level, repeat the steps of 4-6 for 3 times (it is not necessary to wait 15 minutes in step

of 6), then proceed brewing until all the water is used.

10. Repeat the step of 9 at least 3 times to make sure the device is completely clean and ready to use.
