IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.

Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way,

due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge,

must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their

safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance.

Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.

 Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.

 Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.

 From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or

appliance shows any signs of damage. In that case, repairs should be made by a

competent qualified electrician

 Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these

instructions.

 Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.

Never put it in the dishwasher.

 Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.

 Before cleaning or storing the appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power

supply and let it cool down.

 Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.

 Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute

a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.

 Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in

any way. Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface. Do not wind the cord around the

appliance and do not bend it.

 If your type of appliance has a separate base or a detachable cord, remove them from

the water cooker when filling it. If your appliance has a fixed cord, unplug it before filling it.

 Always fill between the minimum and maximum marks. The water must never be below

the minimum mark or the heating element might be damaged. Do not overfill the jug

kettle as boiling water might overflow.

 When using, make sure the lid is closed correctly. Never raise the lid when the jug kettle is in

use and when there are risks of hot water projection due to the bubbling.

 Be careful not to get burned by the hot steam that evaporates when the water is boiling

and especially when you open the lid.

 Use only the base that is supplied with the jug kettle.

 Should the symbol be indicated on a certain surface, you need to be careful when

handling the product. This symbol means “CAUTION, this surface may get very hot during

use”.

person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to

avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.
